Leadership Profile: Paulette Gilmore, RN serves as the Director of Nursing for Wilson Senior Care – Oakhaven.

In 2001 Paulette began her career with Wilson Senior Care, as a CNA at Oakhaven. During that time Paulette attended Northeastern Technical College and graduated with an Associate of Science: Health Science Diploma. In 2006, she became an LPN and was promoted and continued to work at Oakhaven as a full-time LPN through 2007. In 2007-2015 worked full time with hospice as an LPN case coordinator and was promoted to hospice liaison. Paulette also worked with the Darlington County Disabilities & Special Needs Board -Scott Center from 2016-2017 as an LPN. During and throughout those years she maintained a prn/pool working relationship with Wilson Senior Care at Morrell and Medford as an LPN. In 2017, Paulette was promoted to full-time Wound Care Nurse at Medford. In 2019, she began working on her RN. Paulette graduated from Central Technical College in May 2021 with Associate Degree in Applied Science, Nursing. Soon after she was promoted to Unit Manager at Medford. In April 2022 Paulette accepted a position as QA/Risk Manager for Oakhaven and then was promoted to Director of Nursing in January 2023.

Paulette has an extensive medical career that began greater than 20 years ago. She has served in various areas of nursing to include: human service assistant, certified nursing aide, LPN, RN, geriatrics, hospice, disability and special needs, rehabilitation, wound care, quality assurance and risk management, and med surg.

Paulette resides in Hartsville with her husband Tyrone. They have 5 children total and 1 granddaughter. She is family oriented and enjoy spending quality time with family and friends. In addition Paulette enjoys playing softball and being outdoors. She is a member of a local church and serves where I serve as a member of the nurse’s aide committee.
